White Fox Tail WIP

Well I finally pulled out the time to sew an Arctic Fox tail from scratch. Took the liberty of snapping a few photos of the process. I'm gonna wear this to Halloween 2009 and then reused it along with things that I will sew later on for cosplay.



This is fake long hair fur $20/yard from M&L Fabrics. Yes I know that is fucking crazy to buy. But it's the only place that carries it where I live. BOOOO. okay enough of that. Below is the outline of the pattern that I drafted on.



After it's been cut out and nicely groomed. This is probably the worst part of all. Such tedious work and messy. Fur goes everywhere. The best tip I can give you is one that a few experience fur maniac would know, comb the fur in the opposite direct of your cutting line or else you will end up murdering ends of the hair/fur into a chaotic ugliness. Okay onwards we will have to sew it together. This is the alien looking object I have achieved after sewing the darts and the seams where I am suppose to. I hope I did at least. Looks somewhat like a rolled up cone shape with the fur on the inside until I flip it inside out to the correct way.



And now the second to finishing touch; it is incomplete as for I have not sew the top part where it attaches to my belt loop yet. But the main tail is done and stuffed. Hurry, thank god it only took me no more than a 1-2 days of on and off to get it done.

h.Naoto's Hangry & Angry Kittens

I've been wanting to post something about this for awhile because I haven't found a review yet. So for those of you who don't know about me yet, I am a huge Visual-Kei fan. I'm not kidding. I love the music, the clothes, the people. Even seen and met some of my favorite idols. However I stumbled upon this fusion which I found to be so interesting. I love h.Naoto brand clothes, they are for punk and Gothic Lolita whatever you want to categorize it, to me its just awesome clothes for $$$ prices. They have all sorts of things. Accessories, jewelry, clothes like tops skirts, pants sweaters, dolls, stationary items also. XD I have fallen in love with their stuff and I haven't seen anyone do review on the brand on YouTube or anywhere.






I bought this plush doll from their international website and had it shipped from Japan. This doll is one of the two mascot kittens. They are so adorable. There's even a punk band named after them to promote the merchandise and clothing line. The members are former Morning Musume girls. I'll have the links to all of this at the bottom. Please support them and buy the CDs.

I have done enough rambling. Here comes my blurb on the plush doll. =D Hope you enjoy. According to the legal stuff these days I have to lists these facts before hand.

Here some pictures of the Plush doll. It came in the mail very neatly and well packaged with bubble wrap and waterproofed papers. The delivery was on time on and I was happy. She measures about 15inches high. It has wires in the tail and limbs for you to manipulate. But her legs pretty much bend straight or down to make her sit. the tail can be bend in all sorts of ways but it is quite stiff. I didn't like that because I can't run my hands through like a real one. The material is high quality valour like short hair, smooth and soft to the touch. She has contrasting colors black and white with alternating stitches on her side. The eyes and head are non-proportionally huge but nonetheless unique and cute. The eye and nose thing is made of hard shiny plastic. And she's moderately stuffed not too squishy,. I wouldn't want to drool on this one. Isn't easily washable but this is durable sewing and won't rip on you if you are a rough handler. But I hug it to sleep or let her sit on top my makeup dresser. The bonus is that Hangry & Angry have mini little clothes custom for these little guys. they come in all sorts of designs and patterns for Holidays along with the usual. You can both dress up together and walk around.
